Medication management is an essential aspect of mental health treatment that Dr. Vassar provides. She is a board-certified psychiatrist and has extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of psychotropic medications to treat various mental health conditions.
During the medication management process, Dr. Vassar will conduct a thorough evaluation of your symptoms, medical history, and medication history to determine the most appropriate medication regimen for you. Fee Schedule
Hope Psychiatric Clinic of Tulsa is a direct pay clinic. Dr. Vassar’s goal is to provide transparent and patient-centered healthcare.
Payment Process: Instead of contracting with insurance companies, Dr. Vassar offers a straightforward payment process. You pay for your services directly at the time of your visit by credit card, flexible spending account, or health savings account.
Insurance Claims: Dr. Vassar does not engage in insurance billing. She is considered an out of network provider. She will provide you with a “super bill” which is a document with treatment codes which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Most insurance companies reimburse out of network providers at 50% to 80% of in network providers. Please note, Dr. Vassar will not be able to accept direct payment from patients who are enrolled in Medicare.
- Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation (1 hour) – $400.00
- Follow up visit of medication management with brief therapy (30 minutes) – $200.00
- Follow up visit of medication management with extended therapy (1 hour) – $400.00
Patients that have seen Dr. Vassar within the last year of starting Hope Psychiatric Clinic of Tulsa will be considered an established patient and will not need a new evaluation. Dr. Vassar believes regular follow up is essential to building and maintaining wellness. Most patients will be seen no less than every 3 months for continued refills of medications. In some rare circumstances, as agreed by Dr. Vassar, patients can be seen every 6 months. Telemedicine visits may be done after the initial evaluation. Please note that you must be located in Oklahoma to be able to participate in a telemedicine visit.
